With rich and encouraging experience we have gathered in last year's successful meet Rayat College of Law ventures to announce holding of this year's National Seminar in collaboration with Indian Council for Social Science Research- North Western Regional Centre, Chandigarh on 29th March, 2017 on the theme "Crime, Society and the State".
The objective of the event is to disperse information, share ideas, insights and bring to the table the impact of crime in the society and the State.
Crime is unquestionably one of the most prevailing and worrying aspects in any society. It is a worldwide issue that people try to fight and find ways to prevent. With this thought RCL invites original research papers from academicians, research scholars, practitioners and students from any field. Participation is invited from all over the country. The selected papers by the committee will be published in a special volume on the seminar in the form of an edited books with ISBN number.
The Chief Guest, Hon'ble Justice H.S. Bhalla, Chairperson, Haryana Human Rights Commission, will grace the occasion with his benign presence and deliver the presidential address in the inaugural session. While keynote address in the valedictory function will be by Prof. Devinder Singh, Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh who will share his valuable thoughts on the issue.
Principal Dr. Monika Sharma extended her best wishes for the successfull outcome of the seminar.
